Restoring iTunes backup from iPhone 7/6s Plus to iPhone 7/6

Wondering if anyone share the experience on switching the iTunes backup between 5.5 inch to 4.7 and vice versa. So far I am used to 4.7 inch screen sizes and interested in trying Plus sized phone. Is there any problem in using 5.5 inch backup on 4.7 inch in case we wanted to go back to smaller phones in future?
