Inorder to reinstall OSX from the MacMini restore you have to download all 5GB's off the internet? I had my internet go down for 10 sec and it started over at 1GB left...what the hell man!

Bummer, best to save a copy when you finally get it dl'ed. Good luck!

Natrually I use TimeMachine but I'm getting ready to sell it so I'm going back to Factory, only way I found that works is to Download off the Restore Disk, i tried burning a 10.7.2 disk from extracting the contents of a mac purchased update, but the MacMini wouldn't boot from an external USB drive, or maybe an older Version of Lion.

You never have to actually burn a disc nowadays. Just restore the image onto any flash drive you have in hand and it should boot.
