iPhone Restoring texts, settings from an 4 to a used JB 4s?

I bought a jailbroken 4s and would like to restore my contacts, texts, etc. from my old 4 to this new phone without losing the JB. Is it possible to restore the 4s with a recent backup from my 4 without losing the jailbreak?

I tried just putting my itunes account info into the phone and I did get my contacts to enter, but I'd like all my texts and settings to transfer too. If this is possible, I need some basic instructions because I've only ever had to right click and restore from backup, so this is all new.

right click in itunes on your phone and select restore from backup

I tried that with the 4s connected to iTunes, but it does not show the backup from my 4 available. Is there a way to force it to look for the 4 backup?
