Hello I have and iphone 5 running 6.1.4 and my phone is stuck and I need to restore it back to 6.1.4 as I do not want to update to the latest firmware is there anyway I can restore using the same firmware everytime I try to do it itunes give me the 3194 error. I have also tried all the work around ie ( changing the host files tiny umbrella etc.)

It isn't possible currently. If you're restoring your phone, you'll have to update to the current signed iOS.

Because I did it before and it let me revert back to 6.1.4

I just need a fresh copy of 6.1.4 lol

6.1.4 isn't being signed by Apple anymore. You can't restore it on your iPhone 5.

If you were able to go back to iOS 6.1.4 from iOS 7.0 Beta, that is because iOS 7 wasn't released and 6.1.4 was still being signed.

You were able to go back to 6.1.4 from the beta for iOS 7 (before it was publicly released) because 6.1.4 was still the only signed version for iPhone 5, aka it was the current version available to public. You couldn't even install the beta for iOS 7 because they have all expired.

At this point there is no way for you to keep 6.1.4. If you installed 7.1 beta, you would only be able to revert back to 7.0.4 (the only currently signed version of iOS for the iPhone 5).

You're stuck with iOS 7.0.4 or nothing.

Ok now if I restored the iphone from dfu mode from 6.1.4 to 7.0 will the find my iphone still be attached to the phone?
