iPhone Restoring without locking it

I'm new here

I have an iphone 4, 5.1 (9b176) baseband (04.12.01), i already got it from a friend and it was unlocked and jailbroken, however i want it fresh and new, but still keeping the unlock, please help me out.

That is false.
Jailbreaking and unlocking are 2 different things.
And that baseband version you listed above cannot be unlocked with ultrasnow.
So if the phone is unlocked now and you're not using a gevey then its officially unlocked.

Sam stopped working a long time ago the exploit was closed.. there is no unlock for 04.12.01 so TS how is it unlocked Gevey sim or Factory Unlocked? Juice knows what he is talking about not that he needs me to defend him.

This unlock method hasn't worked since April 2012.
There is no other way to currently unlock that baseband version besides gevey or official unlock period.
I see you're pretty up to date and knowledgable about jb and unlocks

Teach you or tell you? Major differences, but since becoming someone who sells factory unlocks I have been out of the loop, truthfully.

being out of the loop is pretty clear, be careful what you advise people, they might end up with something they don't want, need and can't get rid of.
