Hey guys,

My auntie is visiting from the US in early April and I was hoping she could purchase an iPad for myself and a friend on the day of release. Have apple said whether there is a limit on the number you can buy on the day of release?

Not officially, but to be on the safe side I would just have her bring a friend to tag along...

Why not just reserve on-line for in-store p/u? Then you won't have any sad surprises (presumably).

I think the Apple employees will (hopefully) use some common sense with it. If some guy asks for "10 iPads please" they can obviously tell he will try to sell them. I think buying two you will be fine, but perhaps as the second poster said bring the friend just in case.

The only restrictions is how money you have in the bank :p

On a serious note apple (and/or ATT) had restricted the number of iPhones one could purchase. If demand is as high as they're estimating, I wouldn't be surprised to see some sort of restriction imposed.

Im going to buy as many as they will allow! The resale profits will hopefully pay for the one I keep!

Come to ebay rich Asians, Indians, Russians and Middle Easterners!!! Buy this iPad at a riddiculous markup to pose with!
