I have forgotten the four digits code to Restrictions (Parental Control).
There are solutions to uncover the codes (Mac and Windows) on the Internet but none of them works with IOS 5!

Help appriciated!

iPhone Backup Extractor

For now restore is the only option. iPhone Backup Extractor shows all the files in the backup and is used to uncover the digits but they are not shown in com.apple.springboard.plist anymore. They could be stored somewhere else, maybe Apple has a bypass code...

I mailed the developers of iPhone Backup Extractor and they investigated the matter but couldn´t help me for now.

Solution

Well, I really wanted a Iphone 4S so I bought one, made a backup and transfered everything from my 3GS to my new 4S. And guess what, when I checked my 4S, Restrictions were off!!
A somewhat expensive solution even though I sold my 3GS to a friend...
