resurrect an old iPhone 4

Hi, I dug out an old iPhone 4, I am trying to resurrect it, when I try to restore it to iOS 6 from iTune, I got this error, see attached pic. Is there a way to restore an ripsaw without using iTunes? Thanks

I'm pretty sure this thread belongs elsewhere, as here in the jailbreak community, we have a panic attack everytime we see "restore" and "iTunes" in the same sentence
But the problem you're having is that iOS 6 is not signed by Apple anymore for the iPhone 4. You will have to put it on 7.1.2. Why are you trying to restore it though?
