iPhone Resuscitate a jailbreak iphone to original state

hi there

i pushed the button "reset all contents & settings" on my jailbreaken iphone 1st Gen, .... i wanted to clean my iphone & reset to before jailbreake ....
but unfortunately my iphone didn't start up after that ....

dear guys ,please help me to resuscitate my iphone

You have to restore the firmware in iTunes
Plug it in an hit the restore button
Host file pointed to Apple.

what dhlizard said is of course correct but if you like more detail it's the 1st thread posted at the top of this section. you can't miss it because it's a sticky the mods did that so it's easy to find.

i am trying to unjailbreak my iphone 4s without restoring the phone first and when i connect to itunes and hold the buttons down nothing comes up on itunes. also i don't know what the password is to restore the phone. help pleaseeee
