i called 2 stores neither had they said either friday or monday, tomorrow is a long shot but the manager said he heard that it was a possibility. This isnt just a manager i used to know him persoanlly

The press release stated it was available on apple.com and retail stores today but the two stores I called said they do not have them. They might be getting shipments in later tonight. If anyone finds any stores with them in stock let us know!

That's consistent with my experience. I went to the Apple Store in Penn Square Mall in OKC a little while ago and not only did they not have any of the new MBAs yet, the MBA on display was the model that has been discontinued.

Just checked at the Cincinnati store (Kenwood Mall) and they told me the new MBAs hadn't shipped yet and it'd be a "couple of days.". Hopefully Friday!

Not available in San Diego Apple stores (we have two Apple retail stores). No info on when they will have them.

Manhattan Beach, Santa Monica, Costa Mesa and Fashion Island all said deliveries are coming tomorrow for availability over the weekend..

they must be slammed over the phone, as i haven't been able to talk to anybody at those locations...

I've called them all.

Fry's said they will also have it in store possibly tomorrow or saturday at the latest.

I ended up buying the generation that just went obsolete from the Apple Refurb store.

Well, it doesn't look like I'll be seeing the MBA anytime soon. The Galleria mall in roseville was set on fire by an arsonist today and my guess is the whole mall, including the Apple store will be closed for a long time. Too bad because I was on the verge of making an impulse buy...
