I've had my Late 2013 iMac 27" (iMac 14,2) apart twice now, and I really don't want to put more foam tape in here. Clean-up after the most recent removal was a complete nightmare, because the aftermarket foam tape doesn't pull away as cleanly as the OEM tape. Also, the black coating on the back of the glass is staring to wrinkle in spots, because the tape removal pulls on it pretty badly.
So the question is, does anyone make any sort of clip or retainer mechanism for the iMac that doesn't involve adhesive? I don't even care if it's visible at this point. I just want to be able to service this thing without dealing with this foam tape nightmare.
