Hi there
I got a new MBP 15'' today and installed Adobe CS.
What has surprised me the most is that for some reason image formats/ sizes are displayed totally different on my new MBP/ Retina + Adobe CS.
I created a new image/ composition (doesn't matter if Photoshop or After Effects) in HD-1080p size and while on my old MBP-17'' model it is being displayed correctly in size what happens on my new MBP baffles me...
The document/ composition appears way too small. If I'm not mistaken a full HD1080p document should be as wide as the smallest screen-setting ("more space" in new Scaled settings). But it's like half of it at full 100% zoom!
Even if I'm at "Best (Retina)" setting or lower screen size the document appears way, way too small. Instead of a HD1080p it appears more like a 720p version. And yes I have checked to make sure I have the correct format on.
Please tell me what am I missing? There's no way a HD1080p composition appears that small at 100% zoom in Adobe apps.
Let me know,
thanks
Edit: I understand the new MBP Retina's have over 3K resolution. But this makes a 1080P composition/ document appear too small for editing. Is there a way this can be corrected to display like on real 17'' 1920x1200 screens?
