I’m using iTunes (installed via retroactive) and am running Monterey on my iMac. It works very well and I don’t want to loose iTunes as the Music App is not good enough for managing a large collection IMO.

My iMac has had some issues and I’m considering wiping the drive and reinstalling the OS and putting back the files manually to resolve the issue. However I have read that the retroactive installation of iTunes might not work anymore so am a bit unsure if I should do a reinstall. I’m also considering going to Ventura instead of Monterey as I assume it should be as stable as Monterey at this point.

Does anyone have experience with installing iTunes on Ventura/Monteray recently?

I’m using a 2017 5K iMac with SSD for clarity.

Thanks in advance for any input!
