While reading some of these posts of people that had problems with their iPads and returning them to Apple for a new one got me wondering. If I had to return my iPad to the Apple store because of a defect, what happens to all the apps that I currently have on my iPad? Will everything including photos have to be downloaded again from iTunes to the new machine. Will and could the Apple store transfer all my stuff to the new iPad to save me the hassle? I don't have a problem at all but I was just wondering how it would work.

thanks for a reply.......

back up

um... back your iPad up on your computer so if you get a new ipad you can sync it so you have a new ipad thats exactly the same as your old one

All right thanks, I do back everything up on the iPad. I thought it might have to be downloaded all over again but I would rather avoid doing it if it could be done at the Apple store somehow.
