Our school district recently bought 20+ iMacs and now the new ones are faster and cheaper, so I am wondering what is apple's return policy.

I'm looking to return and re-buy, or a credit of money lost. Anyone have any experience or advice on this? thanks!

First off, you haven't LOST anything, especially money. You got very capable machines for your buck. I doubt Apple will do much in terms of a return and re-purchase. Plus, I can guarantee you you won't see a performance increase worthy of the trouble you'll go through to return all those computers. Chill out and set up you new iMacs.

They told me that I would be offered a discount on the current iMac on order (old version).. or I could choose to change my order to a new iMac (As my 'old' iMac has shipped, but has not been picked up).

They also told me of a guy who picked up 32 'old' iMacs literally 2 hours before the new models where released..
