Return to Dark Castle (App-Store)

Has anyone played this game from app-store? http://itunes.apple.com/at/app/return-to-dark-castle/id410703154?mt=12
It looked very oldschool so I gave it a try, but this game is so fu***g difficult, I play on Novice and die everytime after five minutes. You feel like your inside a s****y review of the Angry Video Game Nerd Biting snakes and bats are everywhere, your stones are always empty,....
Is this game really so hard or am I an absolute n00b gamer?

If it is anything like the old game I used to play on the B&W Mac, then it is a kind of a hard game. But there aren't that many boards, so you don't want it to be over too quickly. And don't use your rocks too often! Save them for when you need them.
