I love my iPhone but AT&T coverage in my area stinks. Most of the time I get no service or at the most 2 bars. I can't make or receive calls. Oh well, I guess I'll be stuck with the 10% restocking fee.

Unfortunately this is a difficult situation to be in. You're making the right choice though. Poor coverage makes little use of the iPhone's main feature: the phone.

The really frustrating part is my Verizon phone shows 4 bars and my iPhone says No Service.

If you return it to Apple and make it clear that its a reception issue, they shouldnt charge a restock fee. That's the policy at my local store, anyways. Might be worth talking with a manager about it. You still have to pay AT&Ts stupid fees though. You'd think they'd at least waive the activation fee if you cancel for lack of coverage.
