Hi everybody,

quick question, and hopefully it isn't too stupid.

So say you did buy an iPhone or two, and signed up for a two-year contract with AT&T in order to get the phone working.

But for whatever reason you want/need to return the phones. But even if you return the phones to Apple, doesn't that mean you're still stuck on the AT&T contract? Or is it like Verizon, where they give you 30 days to access and try out their network before you're permanently locked in?

Thanks! :)

They have the same policy as Verizon.

Depends. If you are a NEW ATT customer then you can return and cut all ties. If you are an upgrading existing customer then you can return but you are still bound to remainder of your contract.

Thanks to the both of you; answered the same question from multiple angles.

I'd be a new AT&T mobile customer, so at least that gives me a way out if things don't look so good. :)
