Other Returning iPhone Xs Max

a friend of mine is returning their Xs max, I have no idea why as I love mine but just wanted to find out for them, they have used their phone since they received it yesterday, does this matter? Will they be able to return it having used it? Thanks

Yes they will. There is a 14 day return window, with apple at least.

If they "received" it yesterday, I think they have 14 days to confirm the request online, THEN there is another 14 days to return it. It just has to be posted in the mail (with their postage paid label) by the final date.
