Purchased a MBP 13" under the education discount for my son a few weeks back, and received the AirPods as past of that deal. I want to exchange it for the 1TB however the box for the AirPods has already been tossed. Will Apple Still take back the laptop and just charge me for the AirPods, which I'm fine with. I was charged separately for the AirPods, and so if they keep the cost of them I'm fine with it, but curious if anyone know's how it works? Thanks,

Here's the promo terms and conditions for Canada. Take a look under the return section to see if that helps to answer your question.

Many thanks, that answered my question. So they just deduct the amount for the AirPods. On a side note, unless I'm reading that wrong, it seems to also say that if you return your MacBook etc for another MacBook etc of lesser value you won't be returned the difference... again unless I read that part wrong.

The promotion product referenced there are the AirPods, not the Macs. So if you exchanged the AirPods for a lesser value than offered by the promotion, you would not receive the difference.

Just so I understand you, are you saying that if you had the AirPods Pro and exchanged them for the regular AirPods then as per that policy you wouldn't recieve the difference? Anyways I got the regular AirPods with the MBP but was just thinking they meant the difference of the Mac, if you got a lesser one.

The surest way to get clarification about the promo T&Cs is to call or chat with Apple Store Support.
