I have an EFI flashed and R17 modded Sapphire 7950 and I am wondering... given a re-flash back to stock firmware, will the card still work properly in a PC given that I have removed R17 or will it now be mis-identified?

Boot into bootcamp and check the spec of the card with GPU-Z, it should work. There should not be any re-flashing required.

I will be moving the card over to a PC, not Bootcamp so that was why I was wondering about the missing R17.

Yes, I understand. Hence I replied, if you boot into Windows OS (Bootcamp for MAC Users). Using a small application known as GPU-Z, the application will read the card bios details and your GPU driver version. If the GPU-Z application can read the information correctly on your Windows Partition on your Mac. Then you should be good (meaning the card will show the same info if you mount it on a PC)

Since it is your card, I was just trying to tell you that if you have Bootcamp. You can test it by yourself, because I do no know how your EFI.ROM was modded. There are so many different versions and iterations out there.
