I just ordered the 1.6GHz yesterday and now I am wondering if I should have paid extra for the 1.86GHz option. Please note that I am not interested in the 128SSD as it's way too expensive. I would rather be able to upgrade the drive in a year or so when SSDs are cheaper.
Now all the reviews I have read of the 1.86GHz, it seems fast but most of that seems to be because of SSD drive and not so much the CPU. I am thinking that the 1.6GHz should be fine, especially when Snow Leopard comes out and the nVidia GPU can be used more extesively thus further mitigating the actual CPU difference.
Do you think the 1.86GHZ would be noticeably faster with the exact same drive 120GB drive? I'm thinking probably not. What are your opinions?
