Reverse Engineer iPad Pro Apple Pencil dock?

OK. I’m not an engineer, so don’t beat me up too badly...

Would it be possible to “reverse engineer” the iPad Pro pencil inductive charging port to be able to make a dock/cradle capable of pushing a charge INTO the iPad?

I just thought it would be cool to have a desktop stand capable of charging the iPad in lieu of the USB-C port...
