Hey guys,

I just jailbreaked my iPhone 3g using quckpwn 2.1 and it asked me to replace the boot logos and i went and did this. Is it possible using restore through Itunes 8 to go back to the original apple logo? I'm asking this question just in case I need to take the phone back to the store for warranty work.

Thanks

LOL. You need to unjailbreak it too, not just make it show the apple logo. I've never jailbroken my iPod Touch but I would think restoring it would unjailbreak it and set it back to the apple logo.

NO! You do not need to restore!

In the last week, an app called "LogoMe" was released on Cydia to allow you to change the boot logo easily.

Hope that saved you some time & effort,

Yes, but he would only want to do this if he brought it in for repair, and obviously he doesn't want to show up with a jailbroken iphone.
