This is my 1st and only extended battery case I have used, tested, reviewed for the iPhone 5/s and my results were actually very pleasing. I have a few complaints, but nothing too significant that would warrant you to NOT buy the case.

-----------
CHARGING
-----------
Charges battery fast, gives roughly 50% more battery life. Great build quality and sleek looks match iPhone design. Very well made case overall. The first time I tested the Anker case, I was listening to music via the native Music App on the iPhone and my iPhone was at 60% charge. Roughly 20 minutes later, while still listening to music, it was at 84%. Roughly 45 minutes into my charging, while still listening to music, my iPhone 5 hit 100%. This was pretty impressive to me, especially since I always listen to music.

The second time around, I was NOT listening to any music and I just let my phone charge. I started charging my iPhone 5 at 20%. 30 minutes into my charging, my iPhone was at 62%. 15 minutes later, at 88% charging, the Anker case needed to be re-charged. The results were actually very impressive to me as I did testing while listening to music and while not. I was pleased to say the least with the battery life, the amount of time it took to charge (especially while listening to music).

----------
FEATURES
----------
Case comes with 2 different colored bezels to secure the phone to the case, black and a transparent-ish/clear. Useful kickstand to keep the phone in landscape mode to watch movies, listen to music, etc. Included 3.5mm audio extension cable is a must if you use the case and want to listen to music, glad they included it. USB charging cable.

---------------
COLOR OPTIONS
---------------
While the case charges quickly, is sleek and overall a good design, the lack of color choices to match the white/silver/gold iPhone 5/s can be a bit discouraging to buyers.

----------------
SLICK/SLIPPERY
----------------
Also, the case is slick/slippery and can slide out of your hand fairly easily if you aren't paying attention, but then again, the iPhone 5/s can with or without a case, so to me, that is a mute point.

-----------
WARRANTY
-----------
For those of you with concerns on how long the battery will live, the case comes with an 18-month warranty to help alleviate that concern which is typically 6-months more generous than most warranties.

Is this the product? I like Anker products, but this does look a bit bulky

Isn't a battery case with 2600mAH capacity that gives you only 50% more recharge pretty damn poor?

That case should fully charge your phone and more.

So this Anker product is defective then. Anything above 1700 mAh will give a full charge to an iPhone 5

Well made with good batteries and circuitry, 18-20% should be expected.
