Ive just published my app, but when I reached the final "Review"-tab of the "Add New Application"-page on iTunes Connect, the "Review App Store"-dropdown confused me.

My app is in English and is supposed to sell to the whole world. Should I choose "United States" here, and assume that it will be available everywhere? Or should I choose "Rest of the world"? The latter could also mean "the rest of the world other than the ones listed here", meaning that all the countries including US would be excluded? You see, Im very confused - please help  :)

The Review App Store dropdown lets you select the various storefronts that you previously selected to make your app available in. This allows you to see the differing metadata for those storefronts.

So if you decided to sell your app in the French storefront and had entered French metadata in the previous steps, you'd be able to select the French store from the Review App Store dropdown in order to verify that the metadata for that store was correct.

Hope this makes sense!

Ok. Then its no wonder I was confused, since I skipped the previous step and had not entered any other metadata. To avoid such confusion they should probably exclude that dropdown-box.

So even if US is checked here, the app will be launched in all stores worldwide?

In one of the previous steps, you had the option to select which storefronts your app would be made available from. As long as you had them all selected on that screen you're good to go :)

There is a PDF available in iTunes Connect which explains the process. I read through it a couple of weeks back as I too am getting ready to submit my app and wanted to be sure of the submission process.

Can't remember which section it's in, but log in to iTunes Connect and have a poke around - you'll find it.

Cheers,

RTP.
