For all the complainers out there, here is a good review.

Now, i am not trying to downplay the bottom 1/3 yellow-tint problems people have been having (I am one of them and a replacement should be shipping soon for me), but for the rest of the people who think the new LEDs suck because there is yellow hue all over the screen, read the review.

Would have loved to because I needed some good news, but the link says page is no longer available, which really is too bad because as I said, I have heard way too many negative things about these screens!

Mine seems good. See the yellow only from extreme angles which is acceptable.

Thanks for finding this, it really does give me hope. I am still waiting for mine and have been scared about what I have gotten myself into (hopefully soon to be first time mac owner). I ordered on the June 5th, but I don't thin it will be here for about another 2 or more weeks. This was really what I needed to help think the wait will be worth it. I was seriously thinking about canceling my order, but I am going to wait it out now and hope for a good one. Thanks again and good luck to you on your replacement.
 
:cool: This review should be required reading for members of this forum. I've been trying to get the point across for weeks that the new MBP display is really quite excellent after it has been properly calibrated.

Which is why I created this thread. While some people do have legitimate issues, some post(er)s are getting hysterical for no valid reason whatsoever.
