Review says Macbook faster than MBP - How is this possible?

This review here says that " With 2GB of memory installed, the MacBook was faster than any laptop I had ever used, including my MacBook Pro. "

I know the two machines are identical aside from the memory configuration on the graphics card, and I admit I bought an MBP because I wanted the bigger screen and the better connectivity options, but this kind of talk makes me think maybe I made an error... How could the MBP be slower?

Maybe the reviewer meant that the Macbook with 2gb was faster than the Macbook Pro with only 512mb? I could certainly see this being the case with programmes run under Rosetta.

He could have the older version of the MacBook Pro with a slower processor?

EDIT: The difference is the ram. The MacBook Pro he tested was the 2.16Ghz version with 1GB ram.
