It provides great bump and drop protection, especially for the Sport edition, which has the Ion-X glass, instead of the super scratch resistant sapphire coating.
Like the classic CandyShell cases, it's made of a hard plastic exterior, lined with a soft rubber interior. The hard plastic did dig into the skin a little, but it's something you get used to.
A little pricey at $30 for a tiny piece of plastic, but think about all the scratches you won't have to worry about!
