I can really recommend the Rewind: Music Time Travel app on iOS / Android by Ziad al Halabi that was released end of December.

You can select a year and discover music of that year (from various genres) and get 30 sec audio snippets with quite often videoclips fragment like on TikTok. If you swipe up on the year you will also see: billboard charts, top albums, videoclips, news from that year, iconic movie soundtracks, grammy nominees, new releases and so much more.
In the hamburger menu you can also find a weekly discovery of album anniversaries.
It has a slick UI.
I've also contacted the developer if he could add support for iPad, add a back button (besides a swipe), add decades, add genre, add other streaming services to listen full track on like Spotify, Deezer, Napster.
