Hello

I would like to ask people using iOS 11 about rich notification on iOS 11. I mean if others apps like WhatsApp or Facebook messenger can work like our iMessage ?

When I receive notification from WhatsApp on lock screen and I want to replay I need to press harder and answering then someone send new message which I can not see because right now I'm answering.

This is a little frustrating because lots of my friends use WhatsApp and messenger but almost nobody use iMessage.

Instagram direct messages work almost like iMessage though you must authenticate (via Touch ID or with passcode) before sending.

Facebook Messenger actually did work about a month or two ago for only 1 version (using iOS 10). Ever since that version, their later updates have removed the ability.

Not sure why it happened.

Thanks for quick reply. Regarding istagram it works like WhatsApp. So maybe I'm doing something wrong...

WhatsApp usually takes a few months to get the ball rolling in terms of new iOS features (it took them a few months to get proper 3DTouch support for conversation peeking). Rich notifications are pretty much confirmed though via closed beta testers leaking them in april I think.

Facebook Messenger had rich notifications but removed them again. Pretty sure Instagram has rich notifications for stuff like new images posted etc.
