Rich Text Format for emails in iOS5?

I thought I read that you would be able to choose different colors/fonts in iOS5. Is this true?

You can do basic formatting (bold/italics/underline). This is all I remember being advertised, but I could be wrong...

Color fonts

There is a free notes app that will let you send emails with different color and type fonts.

Since this clearly shows it's possible, I don't know why Apple doesn't incorporate it into the mail app.
