Hi all,

I was messing around with Notes on OS X ML and iOS 5.1.1 and I just wanted to clarify, has anyone ever observed rich text editing working between iOS and OS X?

I ask because currently, there is no way to add some flair to your notes in iOS but if you create a note in iCloud using ML's new Notes app, it syncs it neatly to your device. I've attached the images below.

A couple of things I observed:
-Not all fonts will sync properly between the two.
-Images created on ML will just show as the attachment paperclip icon in iOS.
-Text indenting (align left, center, right, or justify) works just fine too.

Did anybody else know about this or am I just late to the party?

Importing / rendering direct HTML from the clipboard was present even in 5.0b2 a year ago (but, then, has been taken away in b3, where Apple has switched back to text-only). That is, this has long been available, "just" disabled.

It doesn't always stick, though.

I'm currently syncing my notes though my phone (iOS 6), my desktop (Mountain Lion) and when I'm at work, I edit them at iCloud.com (through Safari 6). I frequently find that I can paste rich text into the browser window, but that it inevitably gets downgraded to plain text at some point in the syncing process. Sometimes it takes a little while, but it always happens. I don't actually mind too much, but it's something to be aware of.

What I'd *really* like, is to be able to banish Noteworty from the iCloud.com version of Notes, but there's no option for that from what I can tell.
