After all these years there seems to be a reasonable travel digicam.

24mm (adaptable to 19mm), stabilization, RAW.

It seems to be the first alternative to the film Fuji Zoom Date F2.8 . It even has a bit more tele range.

Someone on dpreview returned it, but many people seem happy with it, including at fredmiranda.

There is the issue that writing a RAW pic takes about 6 seconds, maybe 3-4 with Extreme III
