I have a new 2010 Mac Mini that I am using to stream NETFLIX. I am in Navy and stationed in Japan and I use Hotspot Shield to get a USA IP address. My mac mini stopped working and I an error code saying I am out of area. On my 2009 Macbook Pro it is still working....

Any ideas or help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Where is the error message coming from?
Netflix?
Safari?
The Hotspot Shield?

We can help you more if you give this info.

Sorry, the error is coming from Netflix when I stream over Safari, even when I have Hotspot shield on. The weird thing is I can use my MBP and it works great.

try finder

then your hdd maybe macintosh hdd . for most of us that is the osx hdd name

then library

then application support

then microsoft

you should have two folders

playready and silverlight

look at playready

make a note of what is in it
do this for your good machine and your bad machine

the bad machine should have more then one file inside of the playready folder

get back to us if that is true.

i was in the navy 1978 to 1982
