So I've noticed that my battery life has been nothing short of great (especially in comparison to a loaner that I had). I have no problem getting a full charge / "glow" and have never even seen the phone dip below 50% after heavy usage.

Yesterday I took the phone off the AC at 8:00am, made a few calls each about 5 mins long. Browsed the web for about 10-15 minutes on WiFi. Checked email multiple times throughout the day on Edge and listened to about 30 mins worth of music. This is definately light usage but when I unlocked the phone at 10pm to put it on the charger, the phone still had a completely full charge bar. In fact when I plugged it in at 10, it took about 10 seconds before it showed the complete charge icon.

The battery life of this phone completely blows away my expectations. I may be a bit biased coming from a samsung blackjack but the battery life on my unit is stellar.

Oh and I have 7 series screen and love it!

Is this abnormal, I've seen a lot of battery complaints but I certainly can't relate to them. :D

Sounds about right.

But let me play iPhoneBasherBoy for a second:

BUT BUT BUT I can't SWAP OUT the battery!! The iphone stinks!!!!! Apple is DOOMED!!

In all the years both my wife and I have had mobile phones (and that's a long time!) we have NEVER had to buy a replacement battery, and early battery life was suspect to say the least.

I have 6 iPods (don't ask!) never had any battery issues either, am i just lucky or do most people swap/move on to another phone before the Best Before date?

I still have a Motorola V60 which is kept as an emergency phone, only charged when we remember and it still holds a full charge for days on standby.
