That’s it. I’ve already tried all sizes. It keeps telling me to adjust or change the R eartip to a different size. The odd thing is that the first time I tried it a few weeks ago it was all good (M size). Another thing is that I feel more comfortable with the S eartips even though the software keeps telling me they don’t seal no matter how many adjustments I make. What a gimmicky feature!

Mine got the green seal message in both ears at first but, now the left is always green and the right is always yellow. I use the large tips. The AirPods pro sound good and have good ANC in spite of it. The odd thing is that the left ear that I get the green feels sealed better than the right ear that gets the yellow message. I don’t get it either.

Yes, my R airpod is always yellow now too, unless I press it with my finger while performing the test. Could it be a bug introduced by the firmware update? This makes no sense, my ear canal is the same as before!!! Going to call Apple.

I have the same problem with my right ear but its my ear shape - which I guess is your problem too; I have learnt to insert it in a way that is both comfortable in the ear and also doesn't case phone/Mac to recognise only one AirPods Pro; Hope you find that sweet spot too.

I’ve already tried to insert it in multiple ways. It only turns green if I keep a finger pressing the R AirPod during the test. Same with the L and S eartips. What puzzles me is that a few weeks ago when I purchased the AirPods the test was ok (green) for both ears. What could’ve happen in the meantime? Surely my ear canal didn’t change anatomically.

I think the firmware upgrade has something to do with this. I am having a similar experience with the Ear Fit Test.

Same issue here - the fit test now shows an issue with my right ear only. This started about 2 days ago.

What's interesting is that the fit does seem different than it did over the last 2 weeks, so it feels like there actually is an issue with the seal. But, I've tried all three different tips now and the right ear has the same issue no matter which tip I use.

Since today is day 14 with the new Airpods Pro I'm thinking of returning them and buying a new pair down the line. Had no issues with my gen 1/2 airpods.
