Just noticed when I double click my right APP, it plays the previous track. Same when I triple click. Single click is still play/pause. Left APP is working normal. Already tried unpairing/re-pairing. Anyone see this behavior too? I’m on FW 2D15

Sounds defective.

Per the Apple support documents (including the tiny paper Getting Started document that ships with APPs), double click should be next track. Triple click is previous track. Single click is play/pause/answer call.

Note that this is the same functionality that wired Apple earbuds (the ones Apple have always included with iPhones) have had for years and years. The behavior is the same. Even Apple isn't stupid enough to change this.

This should be the same on either left or right APP. It works this way on mine.

Also a long press on the stem will cycle through the normal/transparency/active noise cancellation modes.

My AirPods Pro have firmware 2B584.

Have you tried to adjust the Press Speed in settings to see if anything changes?

Maybe you're triple clicking & not realising it - (sometimes I don't get the tone when clicking).

Yeah, they were both working fine since I got them at launch. I just noticed today that the right one isn’t performing the proper action for double click and I’m assuming it’s since the 2D15 update last week. All the other functions work fine (single click, triple click, long press). Left works fine. Was hoping others on 2D15 had this issue so I can narrow it down to the new firmware and expect a fix. Spoke to Apple Support and they want me to pay 96 bux for a replacement. Thought these had a 1 year warranty. These haven’t even been around for a year. What is it with these right APP? Seems like all the issues are for the right one.

I just tried the setting. Was hoping you were on to something. I’m must have tried this 100 times at different speeds and different speed settings lol. Left one is fine. It’s def the Pod ?

Was able to fix this by pairing with my Wife’s iPhone which corrected the issue, then pairing back to my iPhone... in case anyone runs into this issue. Very strange.
