Right clicking on a link in Safari on my M1 MBA takes several seconds for the context menu to appear. This doesn't happen for right clicking on say the blank area of a page. It does happen for highlighted text and images too. I have tried Chrome, Edge and Firefox and they have no issues.

I have turned off web site preloading, quick website search, search engine suggestions, fraudulent sites and all extensions but it makes no difference.

Any ideas?

Seems to be prepping the share menu is taking the time, from the console:-

default 08:22:36.338923+0100 Safari MetricEvent 'com.apple.sharekit.PickerMenuLatency' : <private>
default 08:22:36.339668+0100 Safari It took 4114 ms to prepare the async menu.

also when right clicking in Finder although it appears instantly, the actual share menu doesn't:-

So I think Safari must be doing the same thing but not showing the menu until that process has finished...very odd
