I recently replaced the back casing on my 1st gen iphone. Once i finished putting on the new casing i noticed that when i went to turn my ringer volume up, it worked but it said ringer (head phones) like my head phones were plugged in. So i plugged my head phones in and then tried turning my ringer volume up and down and it just said ringer. The problem is that when my head phones are plugged in now, the sound comes out of the iphone speaker and when my head phones arnt plugged in, the sound wants to come out of the headphones. Anybody know of any sollutions?

Have you tried resetting the phone. It sounds like the counter that indicates whether the headphones are connected is out of sync. IF that doesn't work, you may have to restore the iPhone through iTunes.

How do you reset it?

Hold the Sleep and Home buttons until the Apple Logo Appears. Or hold sleep until the "Slide to turn off" appears, then slide. Once it turns off, hit sleep again to turn it back on.

Nope, that didnt work. So you think i might have to do a restore threw itunes? Im on jailbroken/unlocked 1.1.4 right now, so if i have to do a restore i think im just gonna go to 2.0.2
