Ive searched everywhere and I cant seem to find an answer. Is it possible to use the songs in my ipod as the ringtone for my iphone. I found one lead on google about something called Iring (or something like that). But I cant find the program any more.
Can you help a newb out?

Go to myxer.com there you can download already made iphone ringtones for pretty much any song you want. Once you download the ringtone double click on it and it will be added to itunes then just sync and you're good to go.

Google it too, it's really easy to make your own, probably three steps in iTunes and you're done.

i know how to make ringtones. Thats not really what I want to do. I want to be able to choose a song thats already on my iphone and use it as a ringtone.

You can't do that - you have to create a separate ringtone file using the original file as the source, then import the new file to your phone
