Ringtone tone question

Hi all,

I was wondering if someone could answer couple of questions.

1. How do I get an mp4 music file to be set as a ring tone?
2. How do I change the ring time length?

You can do the conversion and edit right in Garage Band on your iPhone.

i've been using ringtone maker for years. add the song into iTunes and they sync with phone to get that song. open ringtone maker app and select the song. find the part you would want to make it into the ringtone and cut that part. max 30 seconds. plug phone back into iTunes and pull the new tone from the app. drag the tone into the tones folder in iTunes and sync again.
