Ringtone Volume

I ghave a peculiar problem with ringtone volume on my iPhone 11. On an icoming call, the first ringtone is at the volume set, but subsequent ringtones become severely muted. I don’t see anything in Controls and Haptics about this, so I can’t change it.

The phone detects motion during ringing. If you are picking it up, it will lower the volume.

If it bothers you, you need to turn of attention aware features.

If you look at it the phone will mute because of the attention aware features. It knows your looking at the phone so it mutes the ring. This feature can be turned off in Settings/Face ID & Passcode/Attention Awareness Features....
