So I rip it, go into the stream folder and send it to handbrake. I go to the chapter tab and there is nothing there.

How do I import the chapters? What am I missing?

Thanks

I go from anydvdhd to makemkv then to handbrake.

If you do it that way you dont have to pay for make mkv as it doesnt do any decrypting.

i always have chapters going from mkv to handbrake.

The reason you're getting no chapters is because you're going straight to the stream folder, the chapters are held elsewhere in the rip. HandBrake can read the full Blu-Ray structure, just select the top folder of the rip and you will get the chapters.

Maybe i have an old version...?

I downloaded it 6 months ago and it keeps saying i have 21 days left over and over and over again, always 21 days left. Lucky me I guess free MKV's. :D

I assumed it was because it was making the MKV from the file ripped from AnyDVDHD

May as well get the new version. All of the features are free during the beta period, so the developer of MakeMKV is putting a beta key in their forums.

Great, thanks guys.

I currently have paid for the MakeMKV and AnyDVDHD

One thing I noticed was that MakeMKV turns the file into a smaller file than the m2ts file anydvd spits out.

Didn't know if quality was better through the original file than the MKV file.

Anyways thanks for the input!
