RipIt and Handbrake question

I used RipIt to rip my first DVD last night and it rips it to the movies folder. Does anyone know how I can then get it into iTunes? I tried importing, but nothing happens.

I first tried using Handbrake, but it just freezes and won't rip. Am I missing something?
 
Use RipIt's compress feature, it will compress it into a iTunes compatible format. It will also automatically import it to iTunes
 
Hmmm, I didn't see that feature. I'll have to play with it tomorrow. Thanks.
