Works fine with me as I only wanna digitize the whole DVD with all the features. I don't care about HDD space issues.

As long as you rip to your HDD and not a network drive the program works like a charme. If you rip to a network drive sometimes the programm/computer freezes.

I got RipIt in the last MacUpdate Promo bundle, and I've been very happy with it. MacTheRipper is still out there, but support for it is nonexistant. RipIt is being actively maintained so I'm sticking with it.
 
Since I am in the planning stages of my HTPC, I am starting to rip a bunch of movies onto my external HDD I just bought.

What are the pros and cons of this program compared to HandBrake?
