I know what you're thinking, but my question is more complex than that! C'mon, gimme some respect. :)

Alright, so 311 has a hidden track on their Transistor CD that comes BEFORE the first song. To get to it you have to rewind to -2:00 BEFORE the first track. Well, of course it's not every CD player that can do this, and I have never found any software to do it. So, the big question: How to rip this track to add it to a mixed disc?

Anyone have a solution? Worst case scenario I can just run from the CD player to my audio interface and record to Logic, but I'd rather do it with as few components as possible (for better signal).

So, who's got a clever workaround?

Thanks in advance!
Dan

Did you try a straight Rip? I' mnto familiar with that Cd but in my experience msot hidden tracks are either their own track or they are part pf the first track so they get ripped when ripping the cd. If you wanted to spereate them into two seperate tracks I think your gonna need to catch the stream and cut it yourself.

Author "robg" wouldn't have had to use Quicktime Pro to split the audio. I wouldn't have even thought of that.

You can also use Sound Studio to split the audio. Very convienient to use.
