I have just read an article on 9to5mac which says that the 16 gb Ram MB 12" is highly expected for the WWDC. Is there a possibility that this can be real? Would you buy it? What would its impacts be on the notebook and for its longevity?

I think everybody has the same knowledge about the 16gb (none or not much) but I would definitely buy. I always have RAM issues before a processor is too slow for me. RAM is better at future-proofing for me than the fastest processor.
I'm in next week even with no update but I expect the processor and hope for the RAM but I have doubts. Any other changes are just cherries on top.

Same situation here. I will buy it right after the WWDC no matter what. I really would like to see 16gb RAM but not really hopeful due to the power consumption.

I would expect Apple to bundle this with the top end processor at the top end price point, at which point it may not amortize any better than 2 midspec devices over the same duration of time.
