rMBP 15.4, switched to discrete graphics to fix scrolling performance

Is anybody else experience subpar scrolling performance throughout the OS? Safari is particularly brutal. So I downloaded an app called gfxCardStatus that allows you to bypass the automatic switching between the integrated card and the discrete. Locking it to the discrete card brings the performance to at least an acceptable level, but it's still not anywhere near the buttery smooth performance I was getting in Mavericks.

i was experiencing very slow scrolling on my 2012 MBPr vs Mavericks, but it seems like a bug in safari, if i only have one tab open then every website is butter smooth...

Hmm scrolling seems to work ok with just the Iris Pro for me. Navigating between spaces / launchpad is what's really laggy!
