The response was so great to rMote being free for one day, I've extended it until the end of April (which is really just today ).

So, download it if you'd like!

For those of you who don't know what rMote is:

rMote gives you complete control over you XBMC, one of the most popular media center software available.

Compatible with XBMC, Plex and Boxee, rMote allows you to remote control your media center over any WiFi connection. Your iPhone becomes the ultimate media center remote.

rMote also allows you to store media center profiles, easily switching between multiple sources in a blink of an eye.

In order for rMote to work, you must have your XBMC configured to use a Web Server, and know which IP and port it is connected on. 99% of the support emails I have received have been due to incorrect settings on their media center.

Does this work with a Apple TV installed XBMC?

It should, I used it on Boxee on my AppleTV. Just make sure you have it setup properly. Let me know if you run into any problems.
